Introducing My 1963 "Stock" Impala Convertible.
This site is about our 1963 Impala. I will include some of the car events that we have enjoyed. It has always been fun to drive, and I have been driving this Impala since 1965. I drove it for eighteen years before we decided to do a complete "Stock" restoration. The restoration took two years to complete, however, restoration is really never complete. We are always finding areas to improve. We had no intention of making our Impala a show car, but after entering it at a Concours d' Elegance, and winning "First" in our class, we decided that this was fun! We now spend our summers at car events, and shows. It has been a great ride!
1963 Impala Facts
"The Ever Graceful Impala!"

In all cities and towns across America, the restyled '63 Impala was recognized by the driving public for what it was, an outstanding all-around automotive value, and a significantly improved car. The ever-popular 283-cubic-inch V8 jumped 20 horsepower, to 195. As before, the six-taillamp look was the Impala focal point. Our Impala is a Sport Coupe Convertible, which is rather unusual. 8,656 of this Impala were produced for the 1963 production year of the Impala.
